Resume professionals from Workforce Connections’ One-Stop Career Centers will offer free resume reviews from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at three Las Vegas-Clark County Library District libraries during “The Great Resume Review Week.”
Tuesday, Aug. 31: Clark County Library (1401 E. Flamingo Rd., 89119)
Wednesday, Sept. 1: East Las Vegas Library (2851 E. Bonanza Rd., 89101)
Thursday, Sept. 2: West Las Vegas Library (951 W. Lake Mead Blvd., 89106)
Resume reviews will be on a first-come, first-served basis at each location for walk-ins. Those who have pre-registered at nvcareercenter.org/greatresume will have preferred access. There may be short wait times based on demand.
“This resume workshop is yet another example of the combined career services that you can find through our library programs and One-Stop Career Centers,” said Kelvin Watson, executive director of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. “Whatever your needs, from job skill development to English language classes, we are here to help. Through federal funding, One-Stop Career Centers offer the community no-cost resume reviews, interview help, job search assistance, as well as opportunities for training and education. Vocational rehabilitation, adult literacy, and other programs are also available at the centers.
