Spread the Word Nevada has partnered with Mothership Coffee to offer a fun way to find your next read while supporting childhood literacy. This month, readers can visit Mothership Coffee’s Fergusons Downtown location and donate $15 in exchange for a gently used mystery book, with 100% of proceeds going to Spread the Word Nevada’s literacy work across the state.
The books were donated by the community and span young adult and adult fiction, including sci-fi, historical fiction, romance, and more. Each one is wrapped with a few clues about the story and a “spice level” rating, but the title stays a surprise.

Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
