One hundred women. One hundred dollars each. One local nonprofit walks away with up to $10,000.
100 Women Who Care of Southern Nevada holds its quarterly giving event on Tuesday, November 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Select Health building, 6795 S. Agilysys Way, Suite 110.
Three nonprofits — Shoes for Scholars, Chef for Kids, and Goodie Two Shoes — will each make a five-minute pitch for why their work deserves the investment. Members vote, and the winner receives all donated funds from the evening. Family Promise, the Q3 recipient, will also share how it put its donation to work.
Last quarter’s gathering of 51 members, plus a matching gift from Fidelity Charitable, resulted in $7,615 for Family Promise.
A $10 registration fee covers hors d’oeuvres and beverages. All donations go directly to the selected nonprofit through Grapevine — 100% distributed, no deductions.
