The Nevada Chapter of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation invites the community to its annual UNITE for Bleeding Disorders Walk on Saturday, October 10 at Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas.
Registration and a community resource fair open at 9 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. and the walk at 10:30 a.m. The CVS Health Bus will offer free diagnostic testing and immunizations, and families can enjoy a Touch-A-Truck experience, face painting, balloon animals, character visits, cornhole, and music. A complimentary picnic lunch and ice cream truck round out the morning.
Registration is free. Anyone who raises $25 or more receives a UNITE T-shirt, and the top team captain wins a custom Stanley Tumbler. The chapter has set a goal of raising $40,000, with all funds staying in Nevada to support emergency financial assistance, education, advocacy, and summer camps for those affected by bleeding disorders.
“Every dollar raised stays right here in Nevada, helping us provide education, emergency assistance and other resources our community relies on,” said Executive Director Jacob Murdock.
