United Way of Southern Nevada has appointed David Garcia, Managing Director and Market Team Lead for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Nevada, to its Board of Directors.
Garcia brings nearly 15 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, and mergers and acquisitions. He has led J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Nevada team since 2015 and holds both Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designations. He earned his JD and MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
His community involvement is extensive — he currently serves as treasurer for Three Square Food Bank and sits on the boards of The Smith Center, the UNLV Foundation, and Lighthouse Charities. He also mentors with Hope for Prisoners and has volunteered internationally in Guatemala and El Salvador.
“David’s professional expertise and passion for community impact make him an outstanding addition to our Board,” said Samuel Rudd, UWSN President and CEO.
