For the ninth consecutive year, Credit One Bank employees rallied for the Fill the Bus school supply drive — and this year’s effort delivered more than 600 pencils, 600 boxes of crayons, nearly 300 notebooks, and 2,500 sheets of notebook paper, along with a $5,050 monetary donation. Supplies benefit Communities In Schools of Nevada and the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
“Knowing roughly 25% of students go back to school without the supplies they need, we’re proud to support initiatives like Fill the Bus,” said Stephanie McHugh, VP of Organizational Development & Employee Engagement.
The donation is part of Credit One Bank’s broader commitment to Southern Nevada youth. Earlier this year, the bank awarded $300,000 in scholarships to 30 local students through its One For The Community Scholarship program in partnership with the Public Education Foundation and Project 150.
