United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) has awarded Community Impact Grants to 16 local organizations for the 2026–2027 funding cycle, directing resources to nonprofits focused on youth opportunity, financial security, health, and community resiliency across Clark, Lincoln, Esmeralda, and Nye counties.
Each recipient was selected through a rigorous review process led by more than 40 community volunteers on UWSN’s Funding Review Committee.
“No one builds a stronger community alone,” said Samuel Rudd, UWSN President & CEO. “The need across Southern Nevada keeps growing, and this funding helps make sure our partners can rise to meet it.”
The grants are part of UWSN’s broader $18 million investment in the region over the past year, which includes early education, financial literacy, crisis relief, and literacy programs. Over the past 12 months, UWSN and its partners distributed more than 28,000 economic stability resources, 8,000 educational kits, 20,800 health and wellness resources, and 15,200 crisis support resources.
