Impact Las Vegas held its Annual Meeting and Grant Awards Luncheon on June 7, recognizing two nonprofits and celebrating nearly 14 years of collective philanthropy.
The organization awarded its 2026 Impact Grant of $120,000 to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) to build the Impact Las Vegas Outreach Depot — a dedicated supply and volunteer hub supporting the organization’s street outreach work. NPHY’s outreach team made nearly 20,000 contacts with youth in the past year alone, a 50% increase over two years.
Grant funds will go toward construction of a climate-controlled storage facility ($60,000), outreach supplies ($45,000), and staffing and operations ($15,000).
The 2026 Members Award of $15,000 went to Serving Our Kids Foundation for its Feeding Their Dreams program, which addresses food insecurity among local students.
“Together, we have learned so much about how we can help our local community,” said Impact Las Vegas President Nancy Heavy. “I hope both organizations will always think of Impact Las Vegas as their community partners.”
This year’s grant cycle drew 115 nonprofit Letters of Interest, narrowed through site visits and finalist presentations to the two recipients — with hundreds of volunteer hours contributed by members throughout the process.
Since its first grant in 2013, Impact Las Vegas has awarded $961,200 in total charitable giving and is on track to surpass $1 million in its next grant cycle. “This milestone reflects the dedication of hundreds of women who have come together over 14 years to create lasting change throughout Southern Nevada,” Heavy added.
