Hope Means Nevada (HMN), the community-based nonprofit focused on supporting youth mental health, eliminating youth suicide in the state, and empowering Nevada’s youth to live hopeful lives, announced it has received a $10,000 donation from The Kevin Geary Foundation. The gift was presented on Friday, September 26 at Geary Company in Las Vegas.
The funds will directly support HMN’s statewide initiatives, including peer-to-peer programs, awareness campaigns, and expanded access to life-saving resources for teens.
To date, The Kevin Geary Foundation has contributed more than $82,000 to local mental health organizations and The Kevin Geary Soccer Scholarship Program, extending the legacy of Kevin Geary, a longtime Las Vegas advertising executive remembered for his commitment to helping others.
“We are so grateful to The Kevin Geary Foundation for their continued support of Nevada’s youth,” said Janna Velasco, executive director, Hope Means Nevada. “This gift will allow us to reach more teens, provide greater access to mental health resources, and further reduce the stigma around asking for help.”
As part of its ongoing fundraising efforts, The Kevin Geary Foundation will also host the Annual Kevin Geary Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Legacy Golf Club. The event includes a hearty breakfast, lunch, raffles, awards, and plenty of fun. Proceeds benefit both HMN and the Kevin Geary Soccer Scholarship Program. Registration for foursomes, individual golfers, and sponsorships is now open. For more information, click here.
