The Vegas Golden Knights and Vegas Golden Knights Foundation donated $5,000 and cases of water to HELP of Southern Nevada to support the nonprofit’s 11th annual HELP2O Water Drive.
With this generous donation, HELP of Southern Nevada can get up to 70 pallets of water to protect the homeless population suffering from life-threatening temperatures this summer.
“We want to thank the Vegas Golden Knights and Vegas Golden Knights Foundation for their donation and support year-round,” said Abby Quinn, Chief Community Relations Officer at HELP of Southern Nevada. “As temperatures begin to climb, please do your part and donate a case or even gallons of water to help those living on the streets as they await housing and other support services. While this was a great July kick-off, we need the community’s help to continue saving lives during these scorching summer months.”
HELP of Southern Nevada’s senior staff attended the donation drop-off at the nonprofit’s Framing Hope Warehouse. President of Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, Community Relations and Programming, Kim Frank, alongside Senior Manager of Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and Community Programs, Mia Greenlee and Vegas Golden Knights Mascot, Chance, were in attendance to present the donation.
Those interested in donating can drop off water bottles to HELP of Southern Nevada’s Framing Hope Warehouse at 1600 E. Flamingo Road, open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. In addition to water bottles, monetary donations can be made by visiting here.
