This Summer Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation (NBCF) will launch inclusive Summer Day Camp programs for children with visual impairments and their sighted peers. Children of all abilities are encouraged to attend camp sessions begin June 2.
“At Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of summer camp, regardless of their abilities,” said Maribel Garcia, Executive Director of NBCF. “Our inclusive day camp programs are designed not only to spark curiosity and creativity, but also to foster friendships and confidence among children with visual impairments and their sighted peers. This summer’s lineup of themed weeks and community partnerships offers campers the opportunity to explore new interests, gain independence, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.”
