Twenty-seven leaders from The Atlas Project have raised more than $100,000 in just three weeks for Obodo Collective, a nonprofit supporting food access, environmental education, and community well-being in Las Vegas’ Historic Westside.
The funds will help Obodo Collective expand its capacity to grow fresh food and create more opportunities for children and families to learn about ecology and sustainable food production. The collaboration is also supporting property improvements, including solar lighting, irrigation, tree planting, and new community gathering spaces.
The campaign culminates this Thursday, November 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. PST with the Obodo Collective Cozy Sunset Supper, where local leaders, supporters, and volunteers will recognize the collective effort and see the improvements their support made possible.
