Volunteers with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada spent Saturday transforming five homes along the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Evelyn Avenue in Henderson as part of Make a Difference Day.
Crews completed exterior painting, rock laying, weeding, debris hauling, and curb address painting — all free of charge for low-income homeowners, including seniors, veterans, and neighbors living with disabilities.
Volunteer teams came from Georgia-Pacific, NV Energy, PNC Foundation, Innova, Wells Fargo, the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), Caesars Salute, Henderson Firefighters Benevolent Association, Lexicon, and Nevada National Security Site.
