The American Lung Association in Nevada’s signature stair climb event is back on Sunday, February 21, 2027, and early registration closes this Saturday.
Scale The STRAT challenges participants to climb all 1,455 steps up all 108 floors of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. Climbers of all abilities are welcome — from first-timers to elite athletes chasing record times. Every participant receives an official race time, finish line photo, and medal.
Scale The STRAT is the American Lung Association in Nevada’s largest fundraiser to support lifesaving work of advancing lung health education, fueling groundbreaking research and advocating for cleaner air.
Register by October 25 for just $20 (plus a $200 fundraising minimum). After that, day-of registration jumps to $50.
“Scale The STRAT is the one day each year when our whole community climbs together for the people who can’t catch their breath,” said committee chair Chris Quaresma. “Every step helps fund the research, education and support that those with lung disease rely on.”
