More than 400 students from 40 schools will take over the Clark County Government Building Amphitheater tomorrow for Green Our Planet’s 13th Annual Fall Giant Student Farmers Market.
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, students will sell fresh produce grown in their school gardens alongside handmade crafts, with all proceeds going directly back into their school garden programs.
The event is hosted in partnership with Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and sponsored by the Las Vegas A’s — whose mascot Stomper will make an appearance — and Credit One Bank, which supports Green Our Planet year-round with financial literacy tools and curriculum that help students manage real transactions at the market.
The market takes place at 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy, 6th Floor, Las Vegas.
