Delta Academy is opening its doors to the entire community for a free college, career and trade fair on Thursday, October 22 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria.
Students, parents, and community members can connect with representatives from colleges, trade schools, employers, and community organizations — exploring everything from university programs and military service to culinary arts, recording, and workforce training. A raffle will be held for vendor swag and a $100 Amazon gift card.
Participating organizations include UNLV, UNR, College of Southern Nevada, Grand Canyon University, Northern Arizona University, the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, Northwest Career College, the U.S. Marine Corps, Army, and Navy, Vegas PBS, and more.
“Whether students are entering the workforce immediately out of high school or enrolling at a university, there will be countless opportunities to explore,” said Dr. Lashon Fredricks, Director of Community and Student Engagement.
