Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has opened a new volunteer opportunity for community members who want to help feed homebound seniors across Las Vegas.
Volunteers help bag frozen meals that are distributed through the organization’s Meals on Wheels program, which serves an average of 1,800 homebound seniors in the Las Vegas area. Beyond nutrition, the program provides an important human connection — delivery staff check in on seniors during each visit to make sure they are safe and doing well at home.
