The Moonridge Foundation brings together more than 450 corporate funders, family foundations, and individual philanthropists for its annual Philanthropy Leaders Summit on Wednesday, September 23, with simultaneous events in Las Vegas and Reno connected by live broadcast.
This year’s theme — “From Intention to Impact” — focuses on turning philanthropic purpose into measurable results. The Las Vegas event takes place at the Congo Ballroom inside SAHARA Las Vegas; Reno hosts at the Joe Crowley Student Union on the UNR campus. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with a networking lunch at noon and the summit beginning at 12:45 p.m.
This year’s speakers include Jyoti Chopra, Chief Human Resources Officer at Hertz Global Holdings and former Chief People Officer at MGM Resorts; Brian Gordon of Applied Analysis presenting the Nevada Corporate Giving Report; and restaurateur and civic leader Jenna Morton discussing her international cultural heritage work. Moonridge Foundation President Julie Murray will deliver welcome remarks.
“Good intentions are where philanthropy begins, but impact is how it’s measured,” said Murray. “This summit is about equipping attendees with the insights and strategies to transform purpose into measurable results.”
