Three Square Food Bank has announced Elizabeth Hunterton as Chief Development Officer and Lisa Segler as Chief Operations and Strategy Officer, bringing their extensive expertise to help the nonprofit in its mission of fighting food insecurity in Southern Nevada for a hunger-free community.
Formerly serving as Three Square’s interim Chief Development Officer since December 2024, Elizabeth Hunterton has become a permanent member of the leadership team. As Chief Development Officer, she is responsible for annual budgeting and enabling continued operational growth to close the meal gap in Southern Nevada. In addition to philanthropy and grants administration, Hunterton oversees marketing, communications and brand awareness for Three Square.
Hunterton has more than 15 years of experience as a nonprofit executive with a proven track record in philanthropy, marketing, innovation and leadership. Prior to joining Three Square’s leadership team, Hunterton served as CEO and Principal Consultant at Crown Consulting Group. Adding to her commitment of positively impacting the community, Hunterton serves on the Pediatric Advisory Council for Intermountain Health Children’s Hospital and plays a significant role in Leadership Las Vegas, a program affiliated with the Vegas Chamber. Hunterton attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she earned a Bachelor of Science in international business and Master of Science in public administration, along with a minor in Japanese. She embraces the life that she has created in Las Vegas with her husband, three boys, and two rescued dogs.
Previously serving as Three Square’s Chief Strategy Officer, Lisa Segler has been promoted to Chief Operations and Strategy Officer. In this new position, she oversees both strategic initiatives and core food bank operations, including food sourcing, inventory, distribution, agency partnerships, culinary operations, and transportation. She also leads the organization’s anti-hunger strategies and supervises multiple departments focused on connecting individuals and families to food and vital resources through innovative programming, partnerships, education, and policy—all aimed at building a hunger-free community.
With nearly 20 years of experience leading teams and driving impact, Segler is known for aligning people, strategy, and operations to achieve ambitious goals. Her career has focused on building effective systems and partnerships to address issues such as aging, health equity, and childhood nutrition – always with an emphasis on community-driven solutions and strong, values-based leadership.
A proud UNLV graduate, Segler holds both a doctorate and master’s degree in public health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and two children.
