Vegas PBS Be My Neighbor Day returns on Saturday, October 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Lawn in Downtown Summerlin.
Be My Neighbor Day is a free outdoor event that promotes being a caring neighbor.
Attendees can engage in community-faced acts of kindness and take part in family-friendly activities. PBS KIDS’ beloved characters Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat will be on stage for guest appearances throughout the day.
Vegas PBS will be collecting new pairs of kids’ socks at the Vegas PBS booth to benefit The Shade Tree, a non-profit organization that provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis. Those who donate will receive a Vegas PBS goodie bag while supplies last.
