Your small change can change a lot!
Las Vegas, NV, October 27, 2016– The Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of Greater Las Vegas will use this day to focus specifically on the donation boxes located inside all McDonald’s® locations. These donation boxes are often overlooked, yet they serve an extremely important purpose.
All money that is donated in those boxes stays locally in Las Vegas to benefit the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their critically ill or injured children are receiving medical treatment. One full donation box is roughly equivalent to $150, which is the actual cost of a one night stay at the House for a family up to six.
At two of these five locations, there will be a group of volunteers bringing awareness to what the donation boxes do and where the money goes. A group volunteers will be at 8480 Farm Rd. from 7am-9am; a group of volunteers will be at 3020 E. Desert Inn Rd. from 11am-1pm.
We are very excited to partner with McDonald’s® for this very special event!
