Orangetheory is teaming up with SONV to host the first annual “Orangetheory’s Special Olympics Relay Race,” a fundraiser to support SONV’s programs.
Participants will compete for SONV medals and prizes by being on a team of 3-5 with each member having to complete certain exercises.
This event is open to the community and Orangetheory members. The cost is a $15 donation to SONV. Orangetheory members can register by contacting the studio via phone, text, social media, or in person.
Non-members must call (702) 420-2142 to register and show proof of donation or pay/register at the studio on the day of the event.
In addition to supporting the organization’s sports, education, athlete leadership training, and health programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities, donations raised during the event will assist SONV in it’s efforts to establish an independently run chapter in Nevada.
While all fundraising dollars support athletes in Nevada, SONV is currently under the umbrella of Special Olympics Northern California.
