
LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Fashion Council (LVFC) will host its third annual “Little Black Dress” event, benefitting the Las Vegas Fashion Council and Friends of the Shade Tree, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. onn Thursday, Nov. 17 at Saks Fifth Avenue at Fashion Show Mall.
The event will bring local designers and fashion enthusiasts together, featuring a runway show competition with dresses designed by students from the Art Institute of Las Vegas. Attendees can vote for their favorite design while seeing the latest Little Black Dress trends from a variety of designers on the main runway. The student with the most votes will receive a $500 grant to go toward their education.
Guests can also enjoy a fashion forward raffle, DJ, hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Las Vegas Fashion Council and Friends of the Shade Tree, a local organization founded to financially support the Shade Tree shelter that has provided safe refuge to over 6,000 physically abused and homeless women, children and their pets for more than 27 years.

The Shade Tree is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and their animals affected by domestic violence in the Las Vegas valley for over 27 years.
