The Venetian Resort Las Vegas proudly announced a $100,000 donation to Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada in support of its forthcoming Advocacy & Justice Complex, a transformational facility designed to expand access to legal services for thousands of vulnerable individuals and families in the Las Vegas Valley.
After touring Legal Aid Center and getting a sneak peek into the new complex and expanded offerings, the executive leadership of The Venetian Resort presented Barbara Buckley, executive director of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada with a $100,000 donation which emphasized the organization’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the Las Vegas community.
“We’re honored to support Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada in their capital campaign for this incredible new facility,” said Patrick Nichols, president and chief executive officer of The Venetian Resort. “This new center will not only expand legal access, but also provide safety and advocacy for those who need it most in our community.”
With the demand for legal aid quadrupling in recent years, the Advocacy & Justice Complex, scheduled to open in 2026, will increase Legal Aid Center’s capacity, and provide a place where survivors of violent crime find hope, families in crisis are supported, and the elderly are protected.
“We are excited to welcome The Venetian Resort as a new partner of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. Their donation is an investment in the future of legal access in our community, and we look forward to standing side by side as Legal Aid Center begins this new chapter,” said Barbara Buckley.
