Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is excited to announce the return of its Second Annual Cutest Cat Photo Calendar Contest. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural contest—which raised vital funds and highlighted dozens of beloved feline companions—the organization is once again inviting cat lovers to enter their pets for a chance to be featured in the 2026 calendar. The contest offers opportunities for cats to be voted into coveted spots, including the calendar cover and monthly features, while supporting Homeward Bound’s lifesaving mission.
So, is your cat ready to claim the crown, the cover, or a Cat of the Month spotlight? Here’s how it works:
- Starting today, submit your favorite photo of your cat for just $30.
- Got a second cat? Enter them for $30, too! Enter as many cats as you want!
- Share your cat’s calendar entry on social media and email your circle of people asking for support right up until the contest ends on November 2!
- Encourage family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to vote for your cat for just $1! Anyone can vote as often as they would like and as many times as they would like—you included!
All proceeds benefit Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions. Every entry includes a free copy of the 2026 calendar, and all entries with 5 votes or more are guaranteed inclusion on the calendar’s kitty collage pages!
“We rely on donations to support cats and people, and our goal with this is to make our work a bit more fun and include your pets in it! There’s no limit to how many cat photos you can submit; the more donations we receive, the more lives we can save in our community,” explained Vanessa Porter, Executive Director for Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions.
