Hussong’s Mexican Cantina brought generosity and excitement to Gene Ward Elementary School, delivering donations from its Back-to-School Supply Drive held July 21 through August 8 across all three of its locations.
Students from kindergarten through fifth grade, along with their teachers and school principal, gathered to welcome representatives from Titan Brands Hospitality Group. Brian Norris, President of Titan Brands, and Carly Held, Director of Sales and Catering, shared their roles within the company while presenting the school with new supplies.
The donation included backpacks, pencils, crayons, paper, markers, glue, paintbrushes, and many other back-to-school essentials. To add a little extra cheer, each student also received a coupon for a free kids’ meal redeemable at any Hussong’s Mexican Cantina location.
“Going into the schools and seeing the excitement on the kids’ faces makes you realize how a small act of kindness can go such a long way,” said Brian Norris, President of Titan Brands Hospitality Group. “At Titan and Hussong’s, we’re committed to giving back and supporting the communities we serve throughout Southern Nevada.”
