The Moonridge Foundation – the organization dedicated to advancing community well-being through strategic giving, collaboration and innovation – announces it will host its 14th annual Philanthropy Leaders Summit on Friday, Sept. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada.
This year’s theme, “Transforming Philanthropy for Lasting Change,” will bring together 500 corporate funders, family foundations and individual philanthropists in both cities to explore best practices in giving and leverage the collective wisdom of their peers to maximize the impact of their charitable contributions and shape the future of philanthropy.
The Philanthropy Leaders Summit is open to corporate funders, family foundations, individual philanthropists and community leaders interested in immersing themselves in dynamic discussions and hearing invaluable insights about emerging trends in giving. The program will inspire attendees to elevate their philanthropic efforts for future generations, unlocking the potential to create lasting, positive change in communities across Nevada and beyond.
This year’s speaker lineup will include:
- Brian Sandoval, president of University of Nevada, Reno
- Alexis Meruelo, chief vision and purpose officer at Meruelo Group
- Jeff Kreisler, managing director of the JP Morgan Private Advisory Leadership Team and the author of “Dollars and Sense: How We Misthink Money and How to Spend Smarter”
- Keita Young, vice president of community impact at FanDuel
- Andrew Pascal, founder, chairman and CEO of PLAYSTUDIOS
- Juliette Leong, 9-year-old philanthropist, TEDx speaker and entrepreneur
- Brian Gordon, principal at Applied Analysis
- Boston Breen and Jacob Sheer, students from The Alexander Dawson School
Guiding the program will be emcees Punam Mathur and Staci Alonso, both respected community figures recognized for their expertise and passion for philanthropy.

The 14th Annual Philanthropy Leaders Summit will take place at the SAHARA Theatre inside SAHARA Las Vegas at 2535 S. Las Vegas Blvd., and the University of Nevada, Reno’s Nightingale Hall at 1335 N. Virginia St., with a live broadcast connecting both locations. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and networking.
