Businesses Can Receive Their Own “Paint The Town Gold” Poster To Elevate Awareness During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, (C4K) is inviting local businesses to proudly show their support of local children battling cancer and help create awareness about childhood cancer during September, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Cure 4 The Kids Foundation’s “Paint The Town Gold” campaign provides local businesses with a specially branded poster, featuring each business’s name at the top, illustrating their strong support of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada’s only pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center.
Businesses can order their poster by reaching out to Amber at info@cure4thekids.org, or go to Paint the Town Gold for additional information.
Each poster features a photo of a current or former patient above the headline “Hope Lives Here.” Along with a listing of specialty services available at C4K, customers can also scan a QR code to connect directly with the Foundation’s website.
“We will never turn a child away from the cancer treatment that will save their life, regardless of whether they can pay. That is part of our mission and who we are as an organization,” said Annette Logan-Parker, Founder and Chief Advocacy and Innovation Officer at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. “We need the support of our business community more than ever to strengthen our mission. The simple act of displaying this important poster helps bring awareness to what we do.”
More than 7,000 individual patients are treated at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation each year for pediatric cancer and other rare diseases. C4K partners with the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the world’s largest childhood and adolescent cancer research organization, and Nevada NCORP, to bring patients access to state-of-the-art national trials. Additionally, C4K conducts its own internally developed, onsite clinical trials tailored to the unique patients it serves. Currently, C4K patients are involved in 19 clinical trials or studies.
