Assisting Lives in Las Vegas, formerly known as Assistance League of Las Vegas, has a new President and Board of Directors for 2025-2026.
Sue Trock will serve a one-year term as President from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. As President-Elect last year, she was instrumental in helping the nonprofit rebrand itself as Assisting Lives in Las Vegas.

Every year, the nonprofit’s more than 350 member volunteers elect a new Board of Directors to oversee the organization. Duties include operating the award-winning Thrift Shop and their 13 community programs, including Our School Boutique (formerly Operation School Bell), which provides more than 5,000 local students every year with a week’s worth of new clothing they need to succeed at school.
Together, Assisting Lives in Las Vegas members volunteer nearly 60,000 hours annually to support the local nonprofit’s philanthropic programs and fundraising efforts. They will celebrate fifty years of serving the Las Vegas community in 2026.
