Kline Veterans Fund is proud to announce the return of its popular Stars & Strikes charity bowling tournament, taking place Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Suncoast Bowling Center in Summerlin.
Presented by the Engelstad Foundation, this high-energy event raises vital funds for Southern Nevada veterans in crisis. The afternoon promises fun for all ages, including patriotic team costumes, raffle prizes, mascot appearances, and friendly competition on the lanes—all to benefit veterans and military families facing homelessness and hardship in Southern Nevada.
“Stars & Strikes isn’t just a tournament—it’s a powerful way for our community to rally around the veterans who need us most,” said Stephanie Helms, Executive Director of Kline Veterans Fund “We’re honored to have the Engelstad Foundation’s continued partnership as we work to serve both immediate needs and long-term stability for high-risk veterans across our region.”
Proceeds from Stars & Strikes support programs and services including emergency housing and utility assistance, basic needs like food and transportation, and educational scholarships for veterans and their families. “Our veterans have sacrificed so much, and this event is one way we can give back,” said Kris Engelstad, trustee of the Engelstad Foundation. “We proudly support Kline Veterans Fund and the essential work they’re doing every day to serve those who’ve served us.”
Additional sponsors include Amusement Exhibit & Event Services, Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, Credit One Bank, CyRoot, Guy Fieri Foundation, Huntington Group LLC, Lisa Wendel Memorial Foundation, JPG Insurance, News 3 Las Vegas, Republic Services, The Paw Spa and Veteran Social Club.
