- Harlen’s Medicine – During Prohibition, Buffalo Trace was one of only six American distilleries that were licensed to craft and distribute medicinal liquor. This spin on an Edison’s Medicine cocktail is crafted with Buffalo Trace Distillery’s Wheatley Vodka named for Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley as well as lime, yellow chartreuse, agave, basil and strawberries.
- Baker’s Corazon – Author Charles H. Baker’s post-Prohibition book, “The Gentleman’s Companion,” chronicles his globetrotting, culinary-focused travels and includes cocktail recipes crafted with the world’s many spirits. Guests can sip the Baker’s Corazon inspired by his book, which includes Corazon Tequila, house-made Huckleberry Hideout Moonshine, Luxardo Bianco Bitters, lime cordial, firewater bitters and ginger ale.
- Lucky 7 Sazerac – With more than 100 years of history, this classic Sazerac Cocktail includes Sazerac Rye, a sugar cube, bitters and an absinthe rinse.
- Irish Smash – Following the Irish War of Independence, the 1920s saw a significant wave of Irish emigration to the U.S. The Underground’s Irish Smash cocktail includes Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, Centerba Herbal Liqueur, mint and lemon.
- The Expat – Many of the United States’ most well-recognized bartenders left America for Paris in the wake of Prohibition. Stateside, cognac — a French liquor — was used in a handful of popular cocktails, exemplifying America’s rebellious spirit toward the new law.
