“I want to congratulate Maria Silva, Justin Grant and Adam McCarthy on this incredible achievement,” says Vegas PBS President and General Manager Mare Mazur. “The story of Ruby Duncan’s fight for welfare rights is a moving chapter in our region’s history. The overwhelming response to the screening of Storming Caesars Palace at the West Las Vegas Library demonstrates the lasting impact her work has had on the hospitality industry. I’m proud Nevada Week was able to capture the energy of that event and the importance of Duncan’s message.”
