Wednesday, January 10, is “National Take the Stairs Day,” and the American Lung Association in Nevada has a challenge: adopt healthy habits by taking the stairs and then help support lung health by registering for February’s premier Fight for Air Climb event, Scale The STRAT.
In honor of the stair-stepping holiday, the American Lung Association will offer a $15 registration discount for those who register to climb all 108 levels to the top of the iconic STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Registration usually is $35.
The code TAKESTAIRS24 is valid for 48 hours only, starting January 10, 2024, until January 11, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. at ScaleTheSTRAT.org.
Scale The STRAT is part of the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb series, which raises money for lung disease research, education, and advocacy. In addition to registration fees, all climbers must make a minimum fundraising pledge of $200. Online support and personal fundraising coaching is available online and through Lung Association staff.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has been the presenting sponsor since the inception of this Fight for Air Climb, and the STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower donates staff, services, and use of the facility for this popular athletic event.
