The Just One Project and SilverSummit Healthplan are teaming up to launch “The Sweet Spot,” a mobile nutrition-focused program designed to educate children and their families on nutritious foods and healthy habits needed to live an overall healthy life.
Targeting elementary and middle school-aged children and their families, “The Sweet Spot” will visit schools, community centers and nonprofit organizations, delivering healthy snacks, nutrition education and appearances by the program’s new mascot, “Sweetie.”
The launch event was held at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada – James Club, at 2530 East Carey Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030, which will serve as one of the program’s outreach locations.
