Description: With its popularity dating back to the 1920s, the invention of the pisco sour is often credited to an unlikely figure – Mormon American Victor Vaughen Morris. Morris moved to Peru, following wealthy Utah resident A.W. McCune to the country after he facilitated a mining contract in the Andes. Morris opened a bar and ran out of whiskey during an event celebrating the completion of a railway. To save the celebration, Morris improvised a new drink using Peru’s signature spirit – the pisco sour. The libation includes Macchu Pisco, lime, simple syrup and egg whites garnished with a lime wheel.

Description: The founding of the American Professional Football Association in 1920, now globally recognized as the National Football League (NFL), made way for a new era of sports betting in the United States. At the start of the decade, a simple money line bet was the most popular way to wager. That was until Charles K. McNeil created a new strategy in the 1930s – the point system. An avid gambler, mathematician and bookmaker, his method transformed sports betting from a win/lose model to the entertaining structure we have today. To celebrate the big game making its way to Las Vegas for the first time in history, visitors are invited to enjoy The Bookmaker cocktail made with WhistlePig PiggyBack Bourbon, WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye, maple syrup, celery bitters and liquid smoke garnished with candied bacon.
