Three Square Food Bank’s Board of Directors appointed Cami Christensen of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino as the 2024 Board Chair, succeeding Al Welch.
An accomplished executive in the hospitality and gaming industry, Christensen currently serves as President and General Manager of Westgate. Throughout two decades of high-level leadership roles, Christensen has proven herself as both a well-rounded hospitality veteran and devoted community leader.
“We appreciate Cami taking on this leadership role for our Board,” said Three Square President and CEO Beth Martino. “With her compassion, genuine spirit and dedication to the Las Vegas community, we look forward to the positive impact she will have on our mission to end hunger for Southern Nevadans.”

Additionally, Three Square has announced Edmund Wong as Chief Operating Officer, where he joins the non-profit organization’s executive team.
In his new role, Wong’s primary responsibility is to facilitate the expansion of Three Square, focusing on both operational and cultural components. He plays a vital role in Three Square’s mission of providing wholesome food to hungry people throughout Southern Nevada, increasing the organization’s food procurement and warehousing capabilities, as well as assuring the quality of food distributed to agency partners.
Feeding America’s 2023 Map the Meal Gap study revealed that more than 274,000 community members, or one in eight, struggle with hunger and one in six children live in a food-insecure household.
