Boyd Gaming is embracing the spirit of giving with its ninth annual holiday competition, “Wreaths of Hope.” A total of 38 local charities will participate in one of Las Vegas’ cherished holiday traditions as the Company awards a prize pool of nearly $70,000 to non-profit organizations across the Valley.
To kick off the highly anticipated competition, each participating charity will decorate a wreath in the spirit of their organization that will be displayed at eight Boyd Gaming destinations: Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Jokers Wild, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery and Main Street Station.
Beginning Monday, November 20 at 6 a.m. through Friday, December 15 at 11:59 p.m., the public is invited to vote for their favorite charity’s decorated wreath at each participating property, online via Boyd Gaming social media platforms or by visiting BoydGaming.com/Wreaths-of-Hope. The eight Las Vegas properties will each award a prize pool of up to $8,500 with a guaranteed minimum cash prize of $1,000 for all participants. Winners will be decided by public vote at each destination.
The citywide competition will also include a social media contest that will award an additional $5,000 to the three charities that receive the most online votes valley wide. The top performing charities will receive a $2,500 first-place prize, $1,500 second-place prize and $1,000 third-place prize.
While people of all ages are welcome to view the Wreaths of Hope displays, guests must be 21 or older to cast a vote. Additionally, guests must have an active Boyd Rewards card account to cast a vote on property. Membership is free and available at the Boyd Rewards Club. Swipe at any kiosk daily at participating destinations to cast your vote. Voting is limited to one vote per account, per property, per day during the contest.
