U.S. News & World Report has ranked a Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) campus in the top 10 of high schools in Nevada. According to the report, which evaluates nearly 18,000 schools nationwide including 165 high schools in the state, CASLV’s Sandy Ridge campus ranked #1 best charter school in Nevada and #1 best high school in Henderson. The campus also ranked #4 best high school in the Las Vegas Valley and #6 overall best high school in Nevada.

CASLV’s Sandy Ridge students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams, with a participation rate of 84%. The campus was also recognized for its diversity student body, with a minority enrollment of 63%.
The U.S. News & World Report Best High School Rankings are evaluated by several factors which include reading and math proficiency scores. On a national scale, CASLV’s Sandy Ridge campus ranked in the following categories, #111 best charter school in the country, and #569 best high school nationwide.
