With summer temperatures surging more than 100 degrees, Veterans Village Las Vegas has opened its summer cooling stations. Individuals in need of water, food and air-conditioned relief from the heat can seek assistance at both Veterans Village Las Vegas locations in Downtown Las Vegas:
Veterans Village #1, 1150 Las Vegas Bvd S., Las Vegas, NV 89104
Veterans Village #2, 50 N. 21st Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101
“We are humbled that the generosity of donors of the Las Vegas community has allowed us to distribute more than one million bottles of water,” said Dr. Arnold Stalk, founder of Veterans Village Las Vegas. “Without their kindness and donations, thousands of United States Veterans, elderly, families with children, and special need citizens would not receive much-needed relief during the scorching summer months.”
The organization is also accepting monetary donations for water, which can be made online by visiting www.vvlv.org
