The Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry is a community resource accessible Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Located at 1501 Las Vegas Blvd North, men, women and families in need can typically receive supplemental food items, including fresh produce, baked goods, boxed, canned and frozen food items depending on availability.
“We deeply appreciate the assistance from our partner Las Vegas Aviators,” said Deacon Tom Roberts, CEO, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. “We are not impervious to the challenges many are facing these days, and due to supply and inflation issues, we are challenged to fill our pantry shelves with the traditional items our clients depend on. For those who can give at this time, we welcome donations on an ongoing basis. Doing so will greatly support our neighbors in need.”
Catholic Charities has reported seeing that canned protein like chicken, spam, beef, tuna, canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter and jelly are in shortest supply. More information on how to contribute can be found at CatholicCharities.com.
