Glittering Lights presented by Richard Harris Law Firm, Las Vegas’ award-winning drive-through holiday spectacular at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, wraps up the 2024 season by announcing its charitable contributions with the Las Vegas community.
In addition to in-kind donations collected for Toys for Tots and Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Glittering Lights donated more than $500,000 to local schools, nonprofits and community initiatives.
A Recap By the Numbers
This year approximately 250,000+ people drove through the 2.5 miles of Glittering Lights. Along the way, they helped make a major impact for local causes including:
- $350,000+ donated to Speedway Children’s Charities Las Vegas Chapter, bringing the total to over $6 Million through more than a decade of fundraising
- Local Boy Scouts troops earned more than $150,000 to help fund their activities by selling more than 500 gallons of hot cocoa at the Cocoa Chalet
- $7,074 donated to 24 local schools and nonprofits through FUNraising partnerships underwritten by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
- 1,257 toys collected for Toys for Tots.
- 5,000 lbs of donated items collected for Goodwill of Southern Nevada
- 10,000+ veterans, active military personnel, teachers, first responders and their families received free admission in appreciation for their service
Glittering Lights will be back even brighter in 2025! Save the dates November 7 to January 4, 2026.
