Helix Electric (Helix), an award-winning electrical contractor that specializes in design-build and highly complex electrical projects throughout Nevada and Utah, is pleased to announce the success of their recent charity golf tournament.
The tournament took place in November at the Chimera Golf Club in Henderson uniting local businesses, partners, and Helix employees in support of five local community organizations and non-profits.
All proceeds from the tournament have been divided between Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada, 22 Warrior Foundation, Those Left Behind Foundation, Little Miss Hanna Foundation and The Gibson McGath Foundation.
“This year’s golf tournament represents a significant milestone for us,” said Victor Fuchs, president of Helix Electric. “We are thrilled to have raised a record-breaking total of $68,000, enabling us to make meaningful contributions to these incredible charities. It’s a testament to the unwavering generosity of our sponsors and the commitment of our community and employees to supporting these vital causes.”
The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada supports individuals with Down syndrome and intellectual developmental disabilities through free programs focused on inclusion, self-advocacy, and job-readiness. The 22 Warriors Foundation is dedicated to preventing suicides among veterans by offering critical mental health support and intervention. Those Left Behind Foundation rescues unwanted pets and provides services to autistic children, veterans, and the elderly. The Gibson McGath Foundation empowers high school students in southern Nevada with skilled shop classes and opportunities to explore careers in the trades. The Little Miss Hannah Foundation supports families of children with rare and medically complex conditions by providing essential equipment and services.
