Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is proud welcome Katie Bremer, PT, DPT to the organization as our new physical therapist.
Dr. Bremer has extensive experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has also provided home-based physical therapies, specifically tailored to address musculoskeletal impairments and post-surgical cases. Bremer also provided therapies to professional athletes at the UFC Performance Institute while completing her clinical rotations.
Under Dr. Bremer’s guidance, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation patients have access to a diverse range of prescriptive physical therapies that complement their medical treatments. These therapies often counteract the physical effects of medical treatments on patients’ bodies. Thanks to the generous donations of the Robert and Dorothy Keyser Foundation and the Cashman Family Foundation, physical therapy is provided to patients within the clinic’s Preventative Healthcare Center.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always wanted to transition into pediatric physical therapy, and this opportunity feels like a dream come true in many ways,” said Dr. Bremer. “I’m thrilled about the prospect of working with patients, helping them recover, and restoring their physical function.”
Bremer earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Pre-Physical Therapy and Psychology from Bethany College. Subsequently, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alvernia University.
