The Asian-American Group and Las Vegas Indian Chamber of Commerce have recognized Nathan Adelson Hospice President & CEO Karen Rubel with a Community Achievement Award at its recent annual awards gala that honors local individuals and organizations.
The Community Achievement Awards celebrate individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and dedication to bettering the Southern Nevada community. Rubel’s honor is a testament to her efforts in enhancing the quality of care provided to patients and their families at Nathan Adelson Hospice, as well as her commitment to community service and the community as a whole.
Rubel joined the hospice in 2007 as vice president of development and has been a crucial part in shaping the organization’s operations, administration and development programs. Under her leadership as president and CEO, thousands of Southern Nevada community members have been helped at such a sensitive time in their lives.
“It’s an honor to receive this award from the Asian-American Group and Las Vegas Indian Chamber of Commerce,” she said. “To be recognized by organizations that stand at the intersection of two vibrant, dynamic, and resilient communities is truly special.”
