Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas is accepting applications to apply for the homeownership program from June 24 to July 12, 2024.
This program builds new homes to be sold to qualified, low-to-moderate income families who are in need of housing, have the ability to pay an affordable mortgage, and the willingness to partner to build their new home.
“We are thrilled to see the influx of new family applications eager to embark on the journey of homeownership,” said Angela Philips, Executive Director. “Owning a home is not just a financial milestone but a pivotal achievement that fosters stability and security for families. We are committed to supporting these aspirations and guiding families towards the realization of their dreams.”
There will be three homes that will be build thanks to the generosity of the community’s volunteer hours, corporate sponsors, and hard work of the selected family. To qualify to apply individuals must be a Clark County resident, be a U.S. citizen, have not owned a home in the last two years, and have a household income between 30%-80% AMI (Area Median Income) based on the current HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) income limitations.
To apply, applications can be found and submitted on Habitat for Humanity’s website at lasvegashabitat.org/programs/homeownership/application
