Credit One Bank, a pillar in the Las Vegas community, continued their support for Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS) and the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) by creating a friendly competition amongst employees to see which floor could raise the most money and school supplies during the month of July.
The true winners are the underprivileged students of Clark County. Credit One Bank employees contributed $17,452 in monetary and school-supply donations in total to both organizations, providing students in need with supplies for the upcoming school year.
“Credit One Bank aims to equip students with the necessary tools to thrive in the classroom and beyond,” said Todd Mayhew, Chief Human Resources Officer at Credit One Bank. “We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless students and assisting them to reach their full potential.”
Items donated to the school drive include boxes of crayons, pencils, pens, notebooks, folders and backpacks. The Bank’s total donations increased by 44% in 2023 compared to 2022 donations for the back to school drive.
