Helix Electric of Nevada (Helix) recently hosted their 10th Annual Charity Spring Golf Tournament, which successfully raised $36,000 for three local community organizations. Over 150 players participated in the event, including local businesses and Helix employees, who united to support the chosen charities: the 22 Warriors Foundation, Those Left Behind Foundation, and the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada. This year’s event was a huge success, with $12,000 donated to each organization.
“We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated and contributed to our 10th Annual Charity Spring Golf Tournament,” said Victor Fuchs, president of Helix Electric of Nevada. At Helix, we firmly believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. It is part of our company’s core values to support local charities and organizations that make a positive impact on our neighbors and friends. These funds will help grow the programs and missions of these organizations, which provide critical support to our community. We are proud to be able to contribute to their important work and look forward to continuing to support these and other local charities in the future.”
The 22 Warriors Foundation aims to prevent the prevalence of suicide among veterans by providing cost – free services and becoming a resource to those in immediate need. The Those Left Behind Foundation is an animal rescue that provides support to autistic children in schools, patriots, and the elderly. The foundation also pairs rescue animals to provide companionship to veterans in need. Meanwhile, the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada aims to promote a positive understanding of Down Syndrome in the local community.
