PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Week is underway and Homeward Bound will have cats and kittens at their partner PetSmart store, 1261 South Decatur Boulevard, Las Vegas, TODAY, Friday, March 10 through Sunday, March 12, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Cats of all shapes, ages and personalities will be putting their best paw forward! Adoptions are first-come, first-served.
“We’re proud to be a PetSmart Charities partner. Together, our impact is greater, and we gain the ability to share what we do with even more people,” said Christi Dineff, Executive Director for Homeward Bound.
This national adoption event brings together animal welfare organizations across the country to help everyone save more lives by connecting adoptable animals with their future families. It also raises awareness about the importance of donating and getting involved in your local community.
“National Adoption Week is an ideal opportunity to give a pet in need what they need most – people to love,” said Heidi Fulcher, Sr. Adoptions Grant Manager at PetSmart Charities.
Homeward Bound’s adoption center is open Tuesdays through Sundays, from 12 pm to 6pm. In addition, they’ll be at PetSmart for this special event Friday, March 10 through Sunday, March 12, from 1 pm to 5 pm at 1261 South Decatur Boulevard. All cats are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. These services cost over $300 per cat on average for Homeward Bound to provide. As a nonprofit, Homeward Bound relies on donations to help cover this cost of care and continue their lifesaving support programs for people and pets.
For those who can’t adopt, Homeward Bound asks that people donate and share their mission with family and friends—both make big impacts. Donations may be made online through the Homeward Bound website, or mailed to 2675 East Flamingo Road, Suite 3, Las Vegas, NV 89121. For more information, call 702-463-9996.
