Blood donations typically drop off during the holidays making National Blood Donations Month in January a critical time for the local healthcare community. A consistent supply of blood and plasma is critical to the health of the community.
The blood supply in Nevada dropped to historic lows during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are still struggling to catch up in order to meet the demand required to treat a variety of life-threatening conditions that are treated at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.
The Blood Drive will be held outside of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation and inside the Vitalant Blood Drive Bus between 9 am and 2 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is located at One Breakthrough Way, Las Vegas, NV 89135.
To donate:
Must be 16 years old and weigh more than 110 pounds
Must be in good general health
