Jewish Nevada, Nevada’s Jewish Federation which serves more than 70,000 Jews throughout Nevada, announced that Eve Breier has joined the organization as director of planned giving, endowment and campaign and Elizabeth Fuchs has been hired as marketing coordinator.
Both Fuchs and Breier are passionate and lifelong members of Nevada’s Jewish community, and their combined efforts will help to support Jewish Nevada’s mission to sustain a vibrant Jewish community throughout the state, Israel, and around the world.
Originally from south Florida, Breier relocated to Las Vegas nearly 20 years ago and has worked in the education field ever since. She has served as a school principal, president of the Charter School Association of Nevada, worked as dean in higher education and previously opened a new charter school locally.
Breier holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and master’s and doctorate degrees from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her many involvements with the Jewish community, she also served as a Jewish Nevada board member and was the Young Leadership chair.
Also joining the Jewish Nevada team, Las Vegas native Fuchs grew up going to local synagogue, Temple Beth Sholom, and attending the Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus for the bulk of her childhood. Her family has been a part of the local Jewish community since they moved to Las Vegas.
Prior to becoming Jewish Nevada’s marketing coordinator, Fuchs studied organizational leadership with an emphasis in nonprofit management at Arizona State University. After graduating in 2020, she worked for her family’s company, Helix Electric. In addition to her work at Jewish Nevada, Fuchs is the acting secretary of the Emerald Dream Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assists and uplifts those in need by providing acts of kindness and service.
